B.3 Verification of Results

Calculations of the transformation into JSE and Jupiter magnetic coordinates were compared with output from MAGPAC v5.1. The tables below show the results of the FORTRAN code shown above compared to MAGPAC. The computations described above agreed with the MAGPAC output.

This table shows the position of the sun in JSE coordinates. The results of the transformation from inertial to JSE coordinates shows the x-axis to be the only non-zero component as defined in section B.1.1.
